Lighthouse Associates Director Will Carnegie has spoken in over 30 countries to thousands of individuals. His session is a captivating and engaging conference and event experience described as a “compelling and engaging emotional roller coaster” and is specifically aimed at Company conference, Leadership and Team Development themed events.
At just 27 years old Will led a team of amateur sailors around the world over 10 months whilst competing in the only yacht race (BT Global Challenge) to circumnavigate against the prevailing winds and currents. Will’s leadership skills were tested to the full when his yacht was hit by a freak wave off the coast of Australia, nearly killing two of the crew. What happened next is a tale of sheer determination and team effort and was reported in the press as “One of the truly outstanding achievements of this leg”*. It is an inspirational example of teamwork and leadership at its most effective.
As a keynote speaker Will has spoken at the following specific events with universally positive acclaim, frequently from international audiences.
“At one stage I looked across the hall and there wasn’t a person who was not completely captivated by the way in which he delivered his story, punctuated by superb photographs and enthralling video footage.” Claire, Mid Beds Council
“Everyone around me was riveted throughout - and the feedback since has been universally positive.” Giles, Skandia
Without a doubt everyone including me was very impressed by your speech and some even rated you ‘6’ on our feedback cards, which were only designed for the categories 1-5 where 5 was already ‘excellent’ rating.” Adela, Compass-Group
