For some time now we've been supporting top British Sailor Phil Sharp. Phil is one of Britain’s most successful offshore sailors and claimed victory in the 2006 edition of the notorious Route du Rhum solo transat race. At his first attempt he finished the Solitaire du Figaro in 2011 as the highest Brit in the history of the race.
Phil's current focus is an entry in the Ocean Masters World Championship , the pinnacle of which is the legendary Vendée Globe. This is the only non-stop, single-handed race around the planet. Known as the Everest of Sailing, it is one of the world’s greatest challenges. To date no British sailor has won it and having worked and sailed with Phil for a number of years we and our project partners know he's capable of doing just this. We're involved for two good reasons:
Current partners include Imperial College London, Southampton University, National Composites Centre and Grantham Institute of Climate Change. If you'd be interested in learning more and supporting the project then please see the project website here and do get in touch.

Changes can seem pretty messy because we have so many conflicting thoughts, feelings and urges going on in us at the same time. Jim Ewing of Executive Arts talks of the three voices of change: Ending, ReInvention and Realisation. If you're facing change at an organisational, team or individual (and we all are on a daily basis) and would be interested in exploring how tools like this can help then please get in touch by clicking here... |
